The Solid-State Circuits Directions Committee welcomes members interested in organizing workshops as a part of the Think Impact with ICs series. The series has emerged as a flagship workshop series with SSCS, attracting high profile speakers and large audience. The workshop series serves two purposes.
- First, we want to provide our members with the opportunity to hear from world-leading experts who may be traditionally outside the domain of SSCS.
- Second, we are interested in exploring the synergies of these domains with our core expertise— ICs—that can be transformative
Past workshops in the series can be found here.
We are interested broadly in emerging areas of science and technology, and its intersection with solid-state circuits. Areas of interest include but not limited to quantum technologies, AI/ML , heterogenous integration and 3D ICs, novel computing platforms, flexible and stretchable electronics, climate change and sustainability, emerging devices, photonics, biomedical and neuro-technology, robotics, 6G and beyond, space technology and others.
Proposals will be evaluated on a rotating basis.
