Call for Mentors
We'd like to invite all SSCS members to volunteer to be mentors for younger SSCS members.
One of the benefits we are trying to deliver to SSCS young members is offering some guidance and advice at our main conferences. We believe it would be very valuable for young members' careers and this is a great opportunity to learn about the benefits of the SSCS membership and inform the future leaders of SSCS. We thought SSCS members would be the best mentors, as you are the leaders, pioneers and top engineers and professors in our area. The main topics that can be discussed at mentoring events will be entrepreneurship, career advice for industry or academia, publication advice, etc. We will start with town hall style with moderated questions and finish with 1-on-1 talk with young members if there is mutual interest. Please let Emre Ayranci, YP and Students Chair know via email if you are interested in particpating - firstname.lastname@example.org.
The next mentoring event will be held in conjunction with the Custom Integrated Circuits Conference 2017 (CICC) on Tuesday, May 2nd at 5:30 PM in the Lady Bird Studio room at the Hotel Van Zandt in Austin, Texas. Please click here to RSVP and let us know if you're available for this event.
