Student Design Contests
A-SSCC Student Design Contest
The IEEE Asian-Solid-State Cricuits Conference holds a student design contest reach year. This contest asks students to design chips. An interactive demonstration, operations, and details can be presented at the conference. The operation of the chip should be demonstrated by showing the important waveforms verifying the design concepts or by showing visual criterions for the performance of the chip. There is no information avaliable regarding the 2016 Student Design Contest. Please check back soon.
Silkroad Award Program (Far-East Student Scholarship)
The Silkroad Award Program of the International Solid-State Circuits Conference (ISSCC) is intended to promote design of integrated circuits and systems at a quality level appropriate for submission to ISSCC 2016. It is particularly intended for students from universities within IEEE Region 10 (Asia and Pacific Region). For a list of countries in IEEE Region 10, please click here. Particular emphasis will be placed on submissions from emerging countries. The candidates will be selected from first-time-accepted paper authors. Award recipients will be selected at the Paper-Review Meeting in October 2015. Each recipient will be expected to present the paper at ISSCC 2016. ISSCC 2016 will be held in San Francisco, California from January 31, 2016 to February 4, 2016.
